HUMANITY IS BROKEN
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
THE SIN THAT WE COMMIT SEPARATES US FROM A PERFECT GOD
Isaiah 59:2
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
HANDING GOD OUR BROKENNESS
Believing in Christ is not an admission of weakness, or falling for some cosmic joke. It’s considering everything has happened in life. Every step that lead you here today, and believing that you are broken and in need of healing. There is no band-aid that will make things better, or get better quick scheme, because at the end of the day, I’m broken, you are broken, and each person in here is as well.

CHRISTIANS ARE BROKEN
Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.
Isaiah 44:22
I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
We ultimately become redeemed in His sacrifice, and he was able to make that sacrifice not just because he was the Son of God, but also because of how he lived his life
Hebrews 4:14-16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
SALVATION IS AN ONGOING EXPERIENCE
It allows us to draw closer to him and is the essence of our relationship with Him.
1 Corinthians 11:1
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
