What’s Next for Living Faith

Focus Passage:

Enlarge the place of your tent stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. Isaiah 54:2-3

Indianapolis is a desolate city that is in desperate need of the Gospel, and God has brought you and me into the fellowship at Living Faith to make sure it happens. 

God has called us, as His church, to multiply to 10 different locations around the city of Indianapolis so that we might see the paradigm of the city we love shift to live for the God that we love. 

1 Church, 10 different locations. Near West, Irvington, up next, Crown Hill.

Crown Hill is the area near Old Northside in Indy that sits between Marion University and Marion Univerity. The timeline for our Crown Hill location is still somewhere between 2-3 years away, but the work starts now. 

Could God use you as a part of the Crown Hill Launch Team? To pull up your roots and plant you right in the middle of that community?

What’s Next for the Lf Irvington?

We each carry influence, whether you think you do or not.

Oikos: This means the people in your sphere of influence. It is used in the New Testament 106 times.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15

When we talk about calling, it often seems to revolve around “WHAT” God is calling me to. Today we shift that to “WHO” is God calling me to.

Our next step as the Irvington Location of Living Faith is to begin to shift our focus from “me” to “we” as we commit to taking the Gospel to those around us. 

What’s Next for You?

It is easy to come on a Sunday, attend a life group, and call it good. Here is the thing, if you are here for the sake of religion, you are absolutely correct. But if you are here because you claim to have a relationship with God, attendance ain’t it. 

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
